A leading Scottish Law Firm in Edinburgh is seeking a Legal Administrator to provide proactive PA and administrative support to Residential Conveyancing fee earners. The ideal candidate will have strong legal administration skills, excellent communication abilities, and a positive attitude. This role offers a friendly and supportive work environment with a salary circa £25,000 - £30,000 based on experience.

Legal Administrator – Residential Property

circa £25,000 - £30,000 (+/- doe)

A fantastic opportunity for a professional and experienced Legal PA / Administrator to join a leading Scottish Law Firm, supporting busy fee earners in their Edinburgh office.The post holder is an integral member of the team with the role existing to provide proactive PA and administrative support to busy Residential Conveyancing fee earners.The firm offers a modern and progressive environment and the team in are inclusive, welcoming and supportive.

The successful candidate will ideally have relevant residential property experience (or similar legal experience) gained from a responsible and varied role, as well as energy, a friendly disposition and positive attitude.

Responsibilities will include:

·Undertaking the administrative components of opening new client matters such as letters of engagement, TOB and AML

·Liaising with clients and answering queries regarding transactions

·Finance administration relating to client transactions

·Producing reports

·Requesting searches from Registers of Scotland, completing registration forms and LBTT returns

·Typing various documents including letters, reports and presentations

·Coordinating travel arrangements when required

·File and diary management

·Ensuring general organisation and smooth running of matters, including improving existing procedures

Essential criteria:

·Strong PA / Administrative skills gained from a legal or professional services environment

·Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills

·Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a professional and friendly manner

·Strong MS Office skills
