Overview

Legal Administrator – Knighton (Temporary ongoing)

£12.30 - £13.50 per hour depending on experience | Mon - Fri 9am – 5pm (35 hours per week)

Responsibilities
  • Secretarial duties including typing of letters and documents, audio typing, filing and copying.
  • Preparing documents and correspondence, including mail and enclosures.
  • Assisting in administration of client files from opening to close and subsequent archiving.
  • Making appointments, maintaining and reviewing the diary on a daily basis.
  • Management of financial aspects of client files, ensuring money transactions are notified to the Accounts Clerk and noted.
  • Answering telephone and other queries from clients and others; receiving messages and emails and ensuring they are dealt with promptly.
  • Communicating with clients in personal calls to the office to provide prompt, efficient and friendly service.
  • Covering for others when they are unavailable.
Skills and Experience
  • Previous legal experience is not essential but would be advantageous.
  • IT literate with excellent communication skills.
  • Dynamic, driven and keen to prove ability to go the extra mile.
  • Great attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
