Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an Associate Director or Director of Town Planning to lead and develop a Leeds regional presence and shape the growth of the business across Leeds and Yorkshire. You will own client relationships, win new instructions, and work with autonomy from a shared Leeds office, with support from the wider planning team and periodic travel to Kent and London.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in private planning consultancy.
• Proven track record at Associate Director or Director level.
• Strong knowledge of Leeds/Yorkshire planning market.

Responsibilities

• Lead and represent the consultancy across Leeds and Yorkshire.
• Act as the local senior point of contact for clients, developers and authorities.
• Provide high-quality strategic planning advice and oversee project delivery.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities and planning instructions.
• Travel to Kent and London to maintain wider business links.
