Job summary

Boels Rental is seeking an Assistant Depot Manager for the Leeds branch. You will support the Depot Manager, supervise front desk and workshop teams, and drive revenue growth while maintaining H&S and quality standards. You will contribute to weekly, monthly administration and strive to improve depot efficiency.

The role is Monday to Friday, 07:30–17:00, with a focus on customer experience and profitability. Boels offers generous leave, bonuses, and recognition programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years plant/tool hire industry experience.
• Experience as Assistant Depot Manager or Hire Controller in plant/tool hire.
• Right to work in the UK; Boels does not arrange sponsorship.
• Customer-focused with emphasis on revenue growth.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise front desk staff to maximise hire and sales conversions.
• Oversee workshop staff for fast, safe equipment turnaround.
• Enforce H&S and quality standards at the depot.
• Assist Depot Manager with weekly/monthly administration and P&L tracking.
