East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust invites applications for an ST5+ post in Acute Medicine on a fixed-term contract from 7 October 2026 to 6 April 2027. This role offers a broad range of clinical experience to support future specialist training applications.

The post-holder will work across Acute Medicine in inpatient and outpatient settings and participate in the acute general medicine on-call rota at a minimum IMT3 level, with supervision from Consultants across these services.

PLEASE NOTE this is a fixed term contract from 7th October 2026 until the 6th April 2027.

These posts provide the post-holder with a wide range of clinical experience in Acute Medicine to prepare you for future specialist training applications.

The post-holder will be expected to work across our Acute Medicine services within the inpatient and outpatient setting. They will participate in the acute general medicine resident on-call rota at minimum of IMT3 level.

They will work closely with the multidisciplinary team and will have close supervision and training from the Consultants across these services
