Job summary

Edwards & Pearce is seeking a technically minded Product Manager to lead a small team responsible for LED lighting products. You will ensure timely delivery, proper documentation, testing and compliance while coordinating with overseas suppliers and internal departments.

The role focuses on product delivery, compliance and quality, rather than new development, and requires strong organisational and communication skills to manage multiple projects to deadline.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical product, product engineering, quality, compliance or product development.
• Strong organisational and project-management skills.
• Experience managing products from overseas manufacturers, ideally in Asia.
• Good understanding of testing, certification and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage workload of two engineers and ensure deadlines.
• Coordinate technical approval and introduction of new LED products.
• Work with overseas suppliers to resolve technical, quality and documentation issues.
• Ensure all product documentation, data sheets and installation instructions are complete and accurate.
• Oversee packaging design, labelling and product data.
• Identify and resolve potential technical or quality issues before launches.
• Collaborate with Head of Product, purchasing, sales, marketing and supply-chain teams.
