Job summary

Mitchell Maguire seeks a Sales Engineer – Lighting for North London and Northern Home Counties. The role focuses on field sales of LED lighting, managing projects from survey to tender, and driving new business with contractors and electricians.

You will support wholesale branches, handle quotes and technical submittals, and work toward typical education, healthcare and commercial projects, with a strong emphasis on technical capability and driving licences.

Qualifications

• Electrical field sales background, lighting preferred.
• Must have sold into electrical contractors/ electricians.
• Experience of managing lighting projects through survey, design, tender and sales stages.
• Strong technical capability.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Field sales position selling LED lighting across North London and Northern Home Counties.
• Drive project-based sales from £5,000 to £500,000 and meet £500,000 new business revenue target.
• Support electrical wholesale branches on lighting project enquiries and tenders.
