Job description

Wirral Met College Lecturer/Trainer Assessor - Electrical

Wirral Met College is seeking a Lecturer/Trainer Assessor in Electrical to join our Construction Department. This full-time, permanent role offers 35 hours per week and a salary of up to £43,439 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop, organize, and manage high-quality teaching and learning in Construction/Electrical.
  2. Deliver scheduled teaching sessions.
  3. Develop and prepare current industry-relevant learning and assessment materials.
  4. Mark student work and examinations, and perform moderation and verification efficiently.
Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Vocational qualification at minimum Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
  2. Teaching or training qualification such as Level 3 Award in Education & Training or PTLLS, or willingness to obtain within 12 months.
  3. Minimum Level 2 literacy and numeracy qualifications.
  4. Comprehensive understanding of Electrical qualifications, supported by industrial experience.
