The School of Engineering and the Built Environment offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and degree apprenticeship courses. We seek an experienced mechanical engineering lecturer to teach part of the year in China and part in Chelmsford. Teaching in China is expected to occur on up to two occasions annually for up to four weeks each. The remaining teaching will be in Chelmsford across all levels, contributing to the research program, especially in sustainability.
The successful candidate will deliver lectures, seminars, tutorials, and practical sessions in mechanical engineering and contribute to other engineering programs. Candidates should have a relevant first degree and a PhD or Professional Doctorate (or nearing completion) in a related discipline, with teaching experience in Higher Education and/or relevant professional practice.
