About the Role

The School of Psychology is a vibrant, research-active and teaching-focused team of professionals with expertise spanning a diverse range of psychological disciplines. We actively involve our students in research-led learning to develop highly skilled, knowledgeable, and employment-ready graduates.

There is clear enthusiasm within the School for developing programmes that provide students with meaningful engagement in psychological science. Our undergraduate and applied MSc programmes are approved and accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). The Role

Applications are invited for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Psychology, with a focus on Education, Pedagogy and Citizenship, to join the School of Psychology within the Faculty of Health and Education.

The successful candidate will be required to teach within the BPS core topic areas, demonstrate adaptability to digital and online learning environments, and have a strong track record of supervision and personal tutoring at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Ideal Candidate

Applicants should be eligible for Chartered Membership of the British Psychological Society and hold a PhD or equivalent Level 8 qualification in Psychology.
