  • Leading enrichment opportunities that encourage participation, achievement and personal growth.
  • Using restorative and supportive approaches to promote positive behaviour and learner engagement.
  • Monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies to ensure every learner achieves meaningful outcomes.
  • Building strong relationships with learners, families and external agencies to support learner success.
Our Ideal candidate should have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
  • Recent experience teaching learners with SEMH needs, SEND, low prior attainment or significant barriers to learning.
  • Experience supporting learners who have experienced disrupted education or alternative provision.
  • The ability to engage and motivate learners who may initially be reluctant, disengaged or present challenging behaviours.
  • Experience delivering English and maths up to GCSE level.
  • Strong skills in planning, differentiation and inclusive teaching practice.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • A recognised Level 5 teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or DET), a degree or equivalent, and GCSE English and maths at Grade C/4 or above.
