East Lancashire Learning Group is seeking a Professional Construction Lecturer to lead the development and delivery of higher technical qualifications and to drive the introduction of T-Levels. You will oversee the curriculum plan for the T Level in Design, Surveying and Planning for Construction and develop an employer network to support industry placements for learners.
The successful candidate will be based primarily at Accrington and Rossendale College but will travel across sites.
A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Professional Construction Lecturer. The role will support the further development and delivery of our higher technical qualifications and to take the lead on the introduction of T-Levels. You will oversee the development of the curriculum plan for the T Level in Design, Surveying and Planning for Construction. You will develop an employer network to support the industry placements and employer set project for learners completing the T Level programme. The successful candidate will be primarily based at Accrington and Rossendale College but will be required to travel across sites. This role has a market premium payment attached of up to £3,000 per annum approved for three years in the first instance. This is for candidates who have the experience of delivering on the Construction T-Level qualification. However, we would also welcome applications from candidates who do not have this experience. This post could suit an experienced practitioner looking for their next challenge, a newly qualified teacher looking to make their mark within an Outstanding organisation, or a talented aspiring trainee teacher looking for support with their teaching qualification. You will be delivering T Level Design, Surveying and Planning and Civil Engineering. We are in particular interested in attracting an individual with graduate knowledge and skills in CAD/Revit, Quantity Surveying and material science.
