Havant and South Downs College is seeking a lecturer to deliver computing, IT and digital skills within the adult learning provision in Havant. The role centers on planning and delivering teaching, assessment and tutorials, tracking progress and providing academic and pastoral support to adult learners aiming for employment or higher qualifications.

The successful candidate will have a degree in digital/computing and teaching experience with Level 2 and 3 learners, along with strong IT skills

Qualifications

• Degree in Digital, Computing or a closely related subject.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent).

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver teaching, learning and assessment to drive student outcomes, retention and progression
• Deliver scheduled teaching, tutorials and assessment for digital and IT courses
• Monitor and track student progress using College systems
• Prepare schemes of work and lesson plans and keep accurate records
• Set, mark and moderate coursework and internal assessments
• Provide academic and pastoral support to students
• Take part in student reviews, interviews and reference writing
• Contribute to quality improvement, course evaluation and assessment review
• Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues

This lecturer post sits within the adult learning provision at Havant and South Downs College, teaching computing, IT and digital skills.
