Role Name: Lecturer in Business

Location: Havering Sixth Form Campus

Pay Range: £18,527 - £28,881 per annum, 0.6 FTE (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Hours and Weeks: 21 hours

Contract Type: Term-time only, 40 weeks per year (from GCSE results day to mid-July)

Contract Term: Fixed Term

Start Date: Autumn Term

The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Lecturer in Business Studies to teach on our A Level Business curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop curriculum in line with national requirements.
2. Create student-centered, inspiring teaching and learning strategies.
3. Contribute to increased retention, achievement, and progression.
4. Provide regular feedback to students.
5. Offer group and individual tutorial support.

Who You Are:

You should have a relevant degree (or equivalent) and a teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain one). Proven experience in teaching and preparing relevant materials is required. An awareness of the diverse academic and pastoral needs of students and a commitment to inclusive education are essential.
