Job summary

University of Leicester is seeking an experienced neurological physiotherapist to join the School of Healthcare as a Lecturer in Neurological Physiotherapy. The role focuses on teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, with responsibilities for assessment, feedback and student support during practice education.

You will help shape teaching strategy and contribute to external assessment and review.

Qualifications

• Qualified physiotherapist with a relevant degree (2:1 or above).
• Registered with HCPC and CSP with membership number.
• Experience of teaching Physiotherapy and supervising placement students.
• Fellowship of Advance HE or equivalent teaching qualification (or committed to obtain within period).
• Experience in leadership and development of learning and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Deliver research-led teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate Physiotherapy programmes.
• Provide timely assessment and feedback to students.
• Support students during practice education in clinical environments.
• Develop, review and deliver innovative programmes embedding key skills and SDGs.
• Contribute to placement activity, employability, outreach, admissions and open days.
