What You Will Do:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons across a range of levels (GCSE, functional skills, A-level or equivalent).
• Support students in understanding core mathematical concepts through creative and practical teaching methods.
• Monitor, assess, and track learner progress to ensure high achievement and progression.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and take part in departmental meetings and quality assurance processes.
• Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment where students feel supported and challenged.

What You Need:

• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, CertEd, QTLS) or willingness to work towards one.
• A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
• Experience teaching Maths in secondary education.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Enthusiastic, organised, and committed to helping learners succeed.
• An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
