Job summary

The University of Lancashire's School of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for a role focusing on animal behaviour, welfare and ethics. You will contribute to course development, delivery and management for undergraduate and postgraduate education and work with our academic and digital development teams.

The successful candidate will bring knowledge of animal sciences, a 2:1 degree or equivalent, and a Level 7 qualification, with flexibility to teach across degrees and to support research

Qualifications

  • At least a 2:1 (Hons) degree in veterinary medicine, animal science or related discipline.
  • Relevant Level 7 qualification or significant professional specialisation.
  • Flexible and innovative teaching approach; committed to widening participation.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to course development, delivery and management for UG and PG education.
  • Collaborate with academic and digital development teams to create accessible learning.
  • Supervise and support undergraduate and postgraduate research.
  • Engage in teaching across degrees within the School and the University.
