The University of Liverpool invites applications for the role of Lecturer in Veterinary Professional Skills. The successful candidate will focus on teaching preclinical subjects within the Veterinary Science School, dedicating a majority of their time to educational activities for fourth and final year students, all while fostering a diverse and inclusive environment.
We invite applications for the post of Lecturer in Veterinary Professional Skills in the School of Veterinary Science, University of Liverpool.
We are seeking a teaching-focussed veterinary surgeon with excellent verbal and written communication skills to join our team.
This role sits within a group of twelve academic members of staff who teach preclinical subjects based in the Department of Veterinary Anatomy Physiology and Pathology on the Liverpool campus. Professional Skills is largely taught by three academic staff and will include some teaching of fourth and final year students at Leahurst. It is expected that teaching will take 70% of the postholder’s time.
Applicants should be MRCVS or eligible without sitting the membership examination, have experience of working in a veterinary practice and have a demonstrated an interest in delivering University-level learning activities.
This is a full time, permanent post.
