Job description
Role

Lecturer in Supported Learning

Variable hours as and when required. Opportunities across our Ayr, Kilwinning and Kilmarnock Campuses. From £41,833 - £50,359 per annum, pro rata. Reference REQ01012.

You will contribute to ensuring a positive learning environment which encourages active participation and enables all learners to achieve their full potential, through the effective learning and teaching of students by assisting in the development, delivery and assessment of relevant resources.

This will involve supporting the Curriculum Manager in the delivery of the supported learning department\'s curriculum to the quality and standards required, through an integrated learning experience that supports the student journey and high-quality learning and teaching experiences.

You will be qualified to degree level, together with relevant teaching experience. It is also desirable, that you are qualified to ASN Qualification at SCQF level 7 or above. A comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential, along with excellent motivational, communication and organisational skills. You will have relevant learning and teaching experience at a range of levels within a supported learning curriculum in a college environment. It is also desirable, but not essential, that you hold, or are working towards, a teaching qualification.
