Are you passionate about providing an exceptional student experience in a research-intensive Russell Group University? Do you want to develop your skills in online teaching, learning, and digital education?
We seek a highly motivated individual interested in Statistics and Data Science to join the Department of Statistics within the School of Mathematics and/or the Leeds Institute for Data Analytics (LIDA). This role supports the University's strategic investment in online distance-learning postgraduate programmes in statistics and data science. You will contribute to research-led teaching, manage student education, and help develop outstanding graduates and scholars. You will also be involved in curriculum development aligned with the Institutional-led Curriculum Redefined principles, especially supporting online teaching delivery.
Applicants should hold a PhD or equivalent in Statistics, Computing, Mathematics, or related fields, with demonstrable teaching experience in Statistics or Data Science. An enthusiastic, innovative approach to student education, good communication skills, and effective use of technology in blended learning are essential. Interest in pedagogic research and scholarship is also valued.
