Job Title: Lecturer in Sports Therapy (HE)

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £38,249 - £42,882 per annum - AC2

Job type: Permanent, Full-time

The Role:

We are looking for an outstanding individual with experience of teaching at undergraduate or substantial work experience within the field of sport and exercise therapy or a clinical setting to join our fantastic team.

You will have suitable experience to deliver specialist modules that translate theory into practice in this field and be able to make a significant impact on the career aspirations of our students.

Furthermore, you will have the ability to lead or support delivery across a range of modules which are underpinned by sport and exercise therapy e.g., anatomy, sports injuries & pathology, clinical practice & assessment and exercise therapy.

You will join an excellent team working to deliver a high-quality educational experience in the Department of Sport and Nutrition. Based in our Moss House Campus, which houses a commercial clinic, Human Performance Centre and Laboratory, you will be able to further develop our external links to maximise the vocational experiences of our students alongside your excellent teaching.

We also have a public facing commercial clinic at our Summer Row campus, which includes a rehabilitation space. Currently, we run 4 MSK clinics, a return to play clinic and a special populations clinic in partnership with the NHS, which you will play an integral role in supporting, allowing you to maintain industry practice.
