Lecturer in Sociology and Dental Public Health (T&R)

Do you have a passion for teaching and are you interested in developing your research skills within a multidisciplinary team of researchers and clinicians?

We are looking for an individual with both research and teaching experience to join the Department of Dental Public Health as a Lecturer. You should have a strong background in Sociology and substantial qualitative research experience. The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in Sociology and Dental Public Health. We welcome applicants excited to work with a diverse student body. Preference will be given to those with experience applying sociology to public health topics.

The position is open to candidates with a PhD related to sociology and health. You will be committed to creating an inclusive and engaging student experience. Teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, along with supervision of research dissertations, is essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent interpersonal, time management, communication, and administrative skills, and the ability to work collaboratively. After a probation period, the role will be permanent.
