Lecturer in Sociology and Dental Public Health (T&R)

Do you have a passion for teaching and are you interested in developing your research skills within a multidisciplinary team of researchers and clinicians?

We are looking for an individual with both research and teaching experience to join the Department of Dental Public Health as a Lecturer. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Sociology and substantial qualitative research experience. The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in Sociology and Dental Public Health. We welcome applicants eager to work with a diverse student body, especially those experienced in applying sociology to public health topics.

The position requires a PhD related to sociology and health. The candidate should be committed to providing an inclusive and engaging student experience. Experience teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as supervising research dissertations, is essential. Strong interpersonal, time management, communication, and administrative skills are also required. This is a permanent position following a probation period.
