Key Responsibilities
  • To deliver requirements of core content that will support students to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours.
  • To deliver on Level 3 programmes in Forensics, Criminology & Psychology as required by the demands of the curriculum.
  • To produce plans of learning, assessment plans, learning materials and any other related activities that impact the effectiveness of learning.
  • To co-ordinate and maintain records of formative and summative assessments of students' learning carried out by the course team.
  • To communicate external examination entry and timetable arrangements to the course team and students.
  • To work pro-actively to forward the success and vision of the department and the College.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Relevant Degree in Psychology.
  • Teaching Qualification (or willingness to work towards a teaching qualification)
  • GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English at Grade C or above.
  • Demonstrate broad knowledge of issues within the FE Sector.
