What you'll do

The Science Faculty at Nottingham College offers a wide range of subjects in a friendly and supportive environment, with first-class teaching and modern facilities.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science lecturer to join our team.
We welcome applications from specialists in Biology, Chemistry or Physics who are passionate about their subject and committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
You will be expected to teach across a variety of programmes, including Levels 1 to 3 and our Degree-level courses. The ability to teach Biology, Physics or Chemistry at Level 3 is essential.
A relevant degree in a Science subject is required. A recognised teaching qualification is desirable; however, if you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to work towards a suitable qualification, and support will be provided by the College.

Who we're looking for

Applicants must have recent teaching experience in the UK education system, ideally within Further Education or a similar setting, and be familiar with curriculum expectations for programmes such as BTEC, Access to HE and T-Levels. Our Science faculty is committed to raising standards of Science education in the region and supports students across a range of academic and vocational pathways, from Level 1 through to Level 6. You will bring energy, creativity and a student-focused approach to teaching, with the ability to bring Science learning to life in an inclusive and engaging way.
