Job summary

GBS in Manchester is seeking Lecturers to teach across the BSc (Hons) Psychology programme. The role is on-site with a permanent contract and a 40-hour week. Flexibility is required to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends to support the delivery model.

You will design, plan and deliver teaching sessions, design assessments, provide feedback, support students, and contribute to programme development across the faculty.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in Psychology or relevant scholarly activity.
• Experience teaching in UK higher education and supporting learners both face-to-face and remotely.
• Excellent communication and professional conduct in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan and deliver teaching sessions as required.
• Design assessments and assess student work to meet learning outcomes.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to students.
• Develop and update course materials to reflect best practice.
• Contribute to programme design, development and reviews.
• Engage in staff development and external events as needed.
