Job description

Part-time, Temporary (Maternity Cover)
Junior Conservatoire Music
Working on Saturdays as per timetable
£40.70 per hour plus holiday pay

We are: looking to appoint an experienced and passionate lecturer who specialise in tuition of piano.

You will provide high-quality, advanced level instrumental training for young people of primary and secondary school age through 1:1 lessons, to offer the best opportunities to enhance students’ musical interests and develop new skills in an inspiring and supportive environment.

The Junior Conservatoire engages with students from a wide range of backgrounds, enabling them to develop their music making skills by participating in an ambitious programme of teaching and learning within the Junior Conservatoire setting.

You will be: highly motivated, dynamic and someone who thrives in a demanding, intense yet passionate educational environment.

You should: have relevant professional experience in music as a performer and teacher, excellent communication skills and an interest in the development of young people’s potential, along with knowledge and experience of arts education.
