Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a well-organised and self-motivated Lecturer in Outdoor and Adventurous Activities based at our Willerby Grove Campus, with an expectation to work across all three sites. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Main Duties of the Role

Your role will be to deliver an ambitious curriculum by undertaking formal scheduled teaching and assessments, including preparation and evaluation of delivery.

Essential Requirements
  • GCSE level standard education or equivalent (maths & English).
  • Level 5 or above teaching qualification (CertEd / PGCE or equivalent) or willingness to work towards.
  • Minimum of Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area (combination of land and water-based instructional qualifications), e.g.:
  • Mountain leader
  • Single pitch
  • Paddle sport instructor
  • Mountain bike instructor
  • Orienteering instructor
  • Archery instructor
  • NSRA instructor
