Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a well-organised and self-motivated Lecturer in Outdoor and Adventurous Activities based at our Willerby Grove Campus, with an expectation to work across all three sites, on a full-time, permanent basis.

Main Duties of the Role

Your role will involve delivering an ambitious curriculum through formal scheduled teaching and assessments, including preparation and evaluation of delivery.

Essential Requirements
  • GCSE level standard education or equivalent (Maths & English).
  • Level 5 or above teaching qualification (CertEd / PGCE or equivalent) or willingness to work towards.
  • Minimum of Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area (combination of land and water-based instructional qualifications), e.g.,
  • Mountain Leader
  • Single Pitch
  • Paddle Sport Instructor
  • Mountain Bike Instructor
  • Orienteering Instructor
  • Archery Instructor
  • NSRA Instructor
