Job summary

1000scholars is seeking a registered Occupational Therapist to transition into academia or contribute as an early-career academic. The role focuses on developing and delivering an innovative MSc Occupational Therapy programme, with opportunities to influence practice-based teaching and student supervision.

The successful candidate will use a mix of practical experience and research to support high-quality learning, employing VLEs and technology to enhance assessment and feedback for students.

Qualifications

• Contemporary occupational therapy experience, ideally in the UK and mental health/children services.
• Active or imminent pursuit of a Master’s degree with commitment to evidence-informed practice and teaching excellence.
• Experience supervising or educating students in practice is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and delivery of MSc Occupational Therapy programme.
• Support, supervise and educate students in practice and academia.
• Utilise VLEs and technology to enhance learning, assessment and feedback.
