Are you an experienced motor vehicle professional looking to inspire the next generation of technicians?
You’ll join a further education provider in London, delivering motor vehicle programmes to learners working towards a career in the automotive industry. This is a permanent role, ASAP start date.
You’ll plan and deliver engaging, practical and theory-based sessions, supporting learners to develop the technical skills and knowledge they need to progress into employment or further study.
Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering motor vehicle lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
Assessing learner progress and providing constructive, timely feedback.
Maintaining a safe, well-organised workshop environment in line with health and safety requirements.
Supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and progress towards employment or further study.
Keeping up to date with developments in the motor vehicle industry and reflecting these in your teaching.
Relevant industry experience in motor vehicle repair, maintenance or a related trade
A recognised motor vehicle qualification at Level 3 or above
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate learners
A teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one
Experience teaching or assessing in a further education setting
