Job summary

University of Wolverhampton is seeking an enthusiastic midwifery lecturer to support and enhance pre- and post-registration courses. The role involves contributing to the ongoing development of the School of Nursing and Midwifery, delivering education and engaging in CPD in a digitally evolving healthcare landscape.

The successful candidate will be a registered midwife with NMC and CPD evidence, open to undertaking a PGCE, and may pursue a master’s degree.

Qualifications

• Registered midwife with NMC and CPD evidence.
• Experience in practice-based education desirable.
• Willingness to undertake a PGCE after appointment; master’s study is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery and enhancement of pre- and post-registration midwifery courses.
• Contribute to ongoing development of the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
• Engage in CPD activities and digital health education.
• Cross-campus teaching and compliance with DBS requirements.
