The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced academic to join the Fashion Media Programme as a Lecturer in Fashion Media & Digital Innovation. The role involves contributing to collaborations within the Fashion Media programme and the School of Media and Communication. You will undertake research relevant to the discipline, develop industry partnerships, and update the curriculum to ensure relevance and topicality.

Relevant experience in the following areas is desirable:

  1. Teaching and assessment in Fashion Media and Digital Innovation or related subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  2. An innovative and reflexive approach to teaching, with a focus on equality, diversity, and inclusion in all teaching and assessment activities.
  3. Evidence of research, knowledge exchange, and/or professional practice that advances Fashion Media and Digital Innovation, aligning with the goals of the Programme, College, and University.
  4. Familiarity with current debates and research in the HE Sector, such as decolonising the curriculum and closing awarding gaps.
