Job Title: Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering (CNC)

Salary: Lecturer Scale points 23 – 37: £27,185 - £41,014 per annum plus potential of up to £5k per annum

The Role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join our team. You will contribute to curriculum delivery, planning, development, and student support. The role involves teaching courses at levels 1 to 6, including full-time, part-time, and apprenticeship programs.

What we are looking for

Applicants should possess a relevant level 4 qualification or higher in Mechanical Engineering and a recognised teaching qualification (or be willing to work toward one). Relevant industrial and/or professional experience in CNC programming, additive manufacturing, and CAD/CAM at a high level is essential. A strong awareness of current developments within the sector and previous experience working with students aged 14-19 are also required.
