Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering (CNC)

Salary: Lecturer Scale points 23 – 37: £27,185 - £41,014 per annum plus potential of up to £5k per annum

The Role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join our team. You will be part of a curriculum team, contributing to delivery, planning, development, and student support. You will teach a range of courses at levels 1 to 6, including full-time, part-time, and apprenticeships.

What we are looking for

You should possess a relevant level 4 qualification or above in Mechanical Engineering and a recognised teaching qualification (or be willing to work toward one). Relevant industrial and/or professional experience in CNC programming, additive manufacturing, and CAD/CAM at a high level is essential. A strong awareness of current developments within the sector is required, along with previous experience working with young people aged 14-19 years old.
