An exciting opportunity has become available to join our GCSE Maths Cross College team. This team is responsible for delivering GCSE Maths across all curriculum areas as part of full-time study programmes or apprenticeships.
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Lecturer who can provide high-quality teaching and learning to meet the diverse needs of our 16–18-year-old learners across all three campuses. Additionally, you will teach our adult learners (19+) one evening per week. In this role, you will create engaging resources that contextualise the subject matter and facilitate learning through various delivery models. You will also monitor student progress and set personalised targets to ensure they are developing both their knowledge and skills.
The successful candidate will hold the following:
Applicants will be required to hold a full teaching qualification at Level 5 or above or be willing to work towards obtaining one. If you do not hold a suitable teaching qualification, the College will support you to obtain this as part of our investment in your professional development.
A flexible approach to working hours, including some evening and non-term time commitments, is required. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and complete paperwork promptly are essential.
