Robert Gordon University seeks a permanent Lecturer in Law for its School of Law and Social Sciences. Successful candidates will contribute through lecturing, research, and administrative duties while maintaining expertise in their legal specialism. Building on its success, the School of Law and Social Sciences is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic permanent Lecturer in Law. You will contribute to a thriving School primarily through lecturing at undergraduate and graduate levels. Applications are sought from practitioners or academics with expertise in Business or Company Law, Commercial Law, Construction, or arbitration law.
In addition to teaching, you will undertake research and carry out administrative roles within the School, including assisting with the PG Diploma in Professional Legal Practice and the Grampian Community Law Clinic.

Salary scales are as follows: Grade 7: £39,355 - 45,163; Grade 8: £46,485 – 55,755. Salary on appointment depends on experience. Candidates with limited or no prior academic experience will be placed at the first point of Grade 7. Consideration may be given to an Academic Attraction Payment for candidates with specific industry knowledge or expertise.
