Job summary

Aston University invites applications for a position within the Business Analytics and Information Systems Department. Job description

The Business Analytics and Information Systems Department conducts teaching, research and engagement activities in various aspects of analytics and IS/ICT. The department fosters a thriving teaching innovation and research culture in the Department, which has a strong reputation for being both rigorous and relevant. As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking inspirational and highly motivated individuals to contribute to the development of the Department's teaching, PhD/DBA supervision, research and enterprise activities. We welcome discussions with prospective candidates whose teaching experience relates to information systems, e-business, digital transformation, IT consultancy and technology management to business school students at different levels and delivery mode.

You will have a good first degree and a PhD in a relevant academic discipline. It would be desirable to be able to demonstrate an emerging record of funding, publication of research outputs and creation of research-based impacts in industry and/or society. We are especially looking for people with a strong research profile in the areas of information systems, e-business, digital transformation, IT consultancy and technology management.
