Lecturer in Hospitality and Tourism Studies Permanent, 1 x Full Time (35 hours per week), with the option of job sharing (17.5 hours per week per person) for the right candidates £41,833 - £50,359 per annum (Candidate holding TQFE will commence on £48,227 per annum)

As a Lecturer you will provide professional expertise and be required to teach subjects (listed below) in courses delivered by the Faculty of Hospitality & Leisure within the curriculum of Hospitality and Events/Professional Cookery/ Tourism. As a professional member of the teaching staff of the College, you will be responsible for the preparation of lessons and teaching materials; the teaching of students and the marking and assessment of their work.

You should possess a degree and be able to demonstrate significant, relevant experience for the role.

Substantial experience in more than one of the following areas is essential for the role: Hospitality Accounting and Control systems, Front Office Management, Accommodation Management, General Hospitality Management and/or experience within a variety of Tourism Industry sectors.

You should possess excellent interpersonal skills, be able to communicate to individuals with a variety of learning styles and abilities, be solution driven, demonstrating determination, creativity and innovation thinking. Previous training / teaching experience would be advantageous but not essential.
