We would welcome applicants for this exciting opportunity to join an expanding and highly successful team of clinically qualified lecturers at the largest college network in Wales. The health and care department delivers clinical training and higher education up to level 4 for health care support workers, for both the BCUHB region, and in some contexts, all of Wales. If you have a passion for driving workforce education and skills and directly impacting positively on the development of those working in care, we would be delighted to hear from you!
You would work with an outstanding team of nursing and health care lecturers, plus support service staff, from our main campus at Coleg Llandrillo, Rhos-on-Sea. Our facilities include state-of-the-art skills and simulation facilities, a fully equipped 7-bed hospital ward, assistive technologies, community and domiciliary care rooms, skills training spaces, and modern lecture and study spaces. Our University Centre at Rhos-on-Sea Campus offers excellent facilities for higher education students.
Our lecturing team delivers high-quality professional programmes to hundreds of students annually, including the All Wales NHS Induction for Health Care Support Workers, clinical skills courses for primary care, and our flagship level 4 Health Care Practice Programme, suitable for all fields and mapped for progression to level 5 nursing programmes and ODP.
