We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Lecturer in Health and Social Care with a specialism in Health Care to join our vibrant team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing curriculum area and make a real difference in learners’ lives.

Essential Skills & Qualities:

  • Excellent subject knowledge in health and social care.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • A team player with a flexible, enthusiastic, and committed approach.
  • Excellent organisational, IT, and administrative skills.
  • A supportive and empathetic attitude towards learners.
  • A proven track record of successful teaching or youth engagement.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • A relevant qualification at Level 4 or above.
  • A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C or above.
  • Assessor/Verifier awards (or willingness to work towards).

Experience

  • Relevant vocational/industrial experience in healthcare.
  • Experience in a healthcare or clinical role.
  • Strong industry networks and professional integrity.
  • Recent teaching experience in further education or a professional setting.

Desirable

  • Degree in a healthcare-related discipline.
  • Experience with higher education teaching, T-Level delivery, and curriculum planning.
  • Knowledge of embedding English and Maths into curriculum delivery.
