Colchester Institute is seeking an inspiring and knowledgeable Lecturer in Business and Management to join our dynamic Higher Education team. In this role, you will teach Business, Management, and related subjects, helping students build the skills and insights they need to thrive in today’s fast-evolving business environment.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative teaching across a range of Higher Education Business and Management modules.
  • Embed emerging technologies and real-world industry experience into the curriculum to ensure students are equipped for modern business challenges.
  • Take on course-related responsibilities such as curriculum development, assessment, and student support.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of our Business and Management provision.
  • Education to Level 6 and/or a professional qualification in a Business-related discipline.
  • Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or equivalent.
  • Relevant Teacher training or the willingness to complete within 3 years of employment.
  • Industrial experience within the business & management sector.
  • Experience of working with young people.
  • Teaching experience in a business & management subject at undergraduate level e.g. finance, marketing, human resources, professional development.
