Job description

Overview

We are seeking to appoint a skilful, dedicated, and enthusiastic part-time lecturer to join our hairdressing team. You will be based at our Watford Campus with our excellent facilities. You will be able to promote, support, and embed English and Maths skills in the planning and delivery of all teaching. The successful candidate will be working 30 hours per week at our Watford Campus.

Responsibilities
  • Teach hairdressing theory and practical skills to students, contributing to their learning progress and outcomes.
  • Promote, support, and embed English and Maths skills in the planning and delivery of all teaching.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to deliver high-quality learning experiences and contribute to curriculum development.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Formal Hairdressing qualification to Level 3.
  • Assessor Award.
  • Barbering qualifications and experience are an advantage.
  • Teaching qualification is desirable; full training to obtain teacher training qualifications will be supported if not yet qualified.
