Job summary

Farnborough College of Technology in Farnborough is seeking a Lecturer in General Engineering to join our Engineering team.

You will teach learners from Key Stage 4/5 across Mathematics, Physics or Design Technology, with autonomy over your workload and support to move into the FE sector.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering engaging lessons that support student achievement and progression.
• Ability to teach General Engineering to FE/secondary learners and adapt to KS4/KS5 requirements.
• Willingness to transition from Secondary Education to FE with support provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging General Engineering lessons to KS4/KS5 students.
• Contribute to a supportive and successful Engineering department.
• Participate in safeguarding and DBS processes as required.

We welcome applications from teachers currently working in Secondary Education who are looking to transition into Further Education, particularly those with experience teaching Mathematics, Physics or Design Technology. Support will be provided to help successful candidates make the move into the FE sector

Applicants should have experience of teaching learners at Key Stage 4/ Key Stage 5 and be confident delivering engaging lessons that support student achievement and progression.
