The Glasgow School of Art is seeking a Lecturer in Fine Art Critical Studies. This role requires a PhD or equivalent experience in art and writing, with a focus on contemporary arts theory. The successful candidate will have a strong teaching background and be able to engage with current debates in the field.

The School of Fine Art at The Glasgow School of Art invites applicants for a Lectureship in Fine Art Critical Studies. You will be qualified to PhD level or commensurate experience of sustained professional art and/or writing practice through a track record of exhibitions, publishing etc. in relation to critical studies and contemporary art.
Applicants will be collegial and collaborative, have experience of teaching within Art Higher Education, and have an excellent understanding of current debates, trends and issues in contemporary arts theory and practice.
