We are seeking to appoint an experienced Lecturer in Finance within the Department of Finance, Accounting and Risk, based in the Glasgow School for Business and Society.

The successful candidate will focus on delivering high-quality teaching supported by scholarly activity. We welcome applications from individuals who can enhance our teaching and reputation in Finance and Financial Services. Candidates should hold relevant qualifications in the subject area, ideally including a professional qualification in Finance or Accounting. Recent teaching experience in a higher education setting is essential, and industry experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities include delivering and assessing modules, supervising students, and enhancing the student experience across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Expertise in areas such as Personal Investment, Pensions, Financial Regulation, Mortgages, Consumer Issues in Retail Financial Services, or Financial Technology is desirable. A higher education teaching qualification and/or Fellow status with AdvanceHE is preferred. The post also involves developing curricula to ensure academic rigor and currency in the subject area.
