Job summary

Sandwell invites applications for an enthusiastic ESOL Lecturer to join our team on a full-time, fixed-term basis for the 2026/2027 academic year. The role focuses on delivering inclusive ESOL education for adult learners, supporting progression from Foundation Level through to Level 2, including employability qualifications.

You will contribute to high-quality teaching, assessment, and learner progression in a welcoming environment, working with colleagues to ensure opportunities for learners

Qualifications

• Experience teaching ESOL to adults is desirable.
• Ability to deliver sessions from Foundation Level to Level 2 and include employability qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ESOL lessons to adult learners with inclusive teaching practices.
• Assess learners and monitor progression to Level 2 and employability qualifications.
• Contribute to the development and planning of ESOL provision and involve learners in progression planning.
