This role involves preparing and teaching a range of resit GCSE English Courses, contributing to aspirational teaching, learning, and assessment, and thoroughly preparing flexible teaching materials.

Key Person Specification Requirements
  • Degree in English (or equivalent) in relevant discipline
  • A-Level English or similar discipline
  • PGCE or commitment to work towards
  • Proven experience of teaching English
  • Knowledge of awarding body standards and requirements
  • Understanding of equality, diversity, and inclusion in work and learning environment
  • Up-to-date occupational experience
  • Enhanced DBS check

Applications are welcomed from Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT/ECT) and industry practitioners without a teaching qualification. The College offers a Lecturer Development Programme, including support, training, and opportunities to complete a Level 4 Certificate and Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.
