This range is provided by Heart of Yorkshire Education Group. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base Pay Range

Ref: 102746
Salary: £31,146 to £37,379 per annum, plus a possible 10% Market Forces payment
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Castleford College

Role Overview

We are looking for a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering to join our team, providing outstanding teaching to ensure learner success and achievement. The role requires delivering engaging sessions on Maths, including Engineering Maths, both theoretical and practical.

You will also deliver on the Health and Safety curriculum, although extensive experience in this is not required.

We seek enthusiastic professionals who can promote a culture of excellent behaviour, motivation, and high learner performance through high standards of teaching and learning. You should be an excellent team player with a passion for supporting students to succeed.

Minimum Requirements
  • GCSE English and Maths A*- C/ 9 - 4 or equivalent
  • Level 3 qualification in Maths
  • Degree in Maths or Engineering
  • Experience in relevant industry or educational settings
