We are: looking to appoint an experienced and passionate Lecturer who specialises in Early Years (pre-school) Musicianship.
You will provide a high-quality, foundational musical training for our Early Years (pre-school) children through the delivery of a stimulating, play-based musicianship curriculum to offer them the best opportunities to awaken their musical interests, to lay the foundations for them to develop new skills whilst sowing the seeds of a life- long love of music in an inspiring and supportive environment.
The Junior Conservatoire engages with students from a wide range of backgrounds enabling them to develop their music making skills by participating in an ambitious programme of teaching and learning within the Junior Conservatoire setting.
You will be highly motivated, dynamic and someone who thrives in a demanding, but creative educational environment.
You should have relevant professional experience in music education as an early years/nursery practitioner/teacher, excellent communication and planning skills and an interest in the development of children’s potential, along with a wider knowledge and experience of music education.
